Loud song of this species. One of the common sounds to be heard in the less disturbed areas of Res. Ecol. Mãe-da-Lua. (mata fresca, and dry forest covering hill tops). The spectrogram is similar to the one in Whitney et al. 2000 (Fig. 6 D, see also table 2).
