Figure 1. Song of the Little Nightjar. Can be heard
at the beginning of the rainy season, and is then one
of the most prominent sounds of the "night concert",
especially when there is a lot of moonlight.
Identification was based on the "Sound Guide" by
Ranft and Cleere 1998.
There are variants of the
song (to be added to this page at a later stage).
The recording was band-pass filtered (300Hz-5000Hz).
