The Neotropical Cormorant Phalacrocorax brasilianus and the Anhinga Anhinga anhinga were seen in Fazenda Canaã in the rainy season of the year 2002 (or 2001?). Fazenda Canaã does not have large water bodies, but there is a large reservoir, with a lot of fish, in a neighbouring farm ("Fazenda Mastruz-com-Leite"), and I suppose that the birds came from there. In any event, in Fazenda Canaã, they stayed only a week or two.
