The stripes bordering the coronal streak laterally are dark (gray or olive-gray?), as can also be seen in fig. 1. Ridgely and Tudor 1989 described these stripes as black. See also Sharpe 1885, p. 393. This shows that there are some color variants within the subspecies, maybe not surprising given its large range.
