This is the list of the birds observed

• in or around Reserva Ecológica Mãe-da-Lua, Itapajé, from 2006 to 2010 (label M),
• in Fazenda Canaã, Pentecoste, from 2002 to 2006, and in 2009 (no label);
• in the mountains "Serra de Baturité" (no label);
• and/or in other locations in Ceará (no label).

I followed the taxonomic system of the South American Classification Committee (SACC) of the American Ornithologists' Union (AOU). Version: 12 September 2008. However, for family Tyrannidae, I added subfamilies (Elaeniinae etc.) as in Sick 1997.
